COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job purpose

The agSigns Business Consultant will provide agSigns operations and technical support to AlphaGraphics franchisees in order to help them drive agSigns sales and profitability. Key responsibilities include phone support, field training, webinar training and in-center support for franchisees. In addition, this position will provide sales guidance and is responsible for the continued agSigns education of AlphaGraphics corporate staff and support personnel.

Duties and responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of the agSigns Business Consultant are as follows:



  • Provides agSigns sales and operations phone support to franchisees in a timely manner.
  • Provides ONYX RIP (Raster Imaging Processor) support to franchise Network.
  • Assists with workflow planning and execution.
  • Provides guidance on proper substrate use and application.
  • Develops and implements a consistent Webinar education program relating to the agSigns initiative.
  • Conducts agSigns field trainings in selected markets. This position is responsible for the operations training at these events.
  • Works with the Support Services team to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 agSigns operations support to franchisees.
  • Monitors and reports agSigns sales within the AlphaGraphics Network.
  • Works with AlphaGraphics sales, operations, training and financial support personnel to provide all encompassing support for franchisees.
  • Develop or contribute to white papers and supporting materials as it relates to agSigns. Also develops and consistently contributes articles and information to the agSigns Knowledge Base.
  • Works with Vendor Services Manager, Director of agSigns, and CFO to develop and maintain a comprehensive agSigns network of vendors.
  • Contributes agSigns related topics for inclusion in the Network Wire.
  • Provides equipment, software and product advice to franchisees and the AlphaGraphics corporate team.
  • Evaluates new equipment and products as franchisees enter the market.
  • Develop or contribute to development of agSigns Operations Manual.
  • Collects and communicates best practices as it relates to agSigns.
  • May present at Annual Conference and various training events.


Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this job are as follows:


  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of extensive experience in the sales and operations of a signs and graphics business required
  • Previous ownership or management of a signs business a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in the sales and marketing aspects of operating a business-to-business sales operation
  • Understands financial management and business planning in a small business setting.
  • Must have an outgoing and approachable personality and demeanor
