Am I paranoid, or is my gut right?

On a side note, I get quite a few calls for service work from "out of state" sign companies. Rarely I get a deposit (its always a rush, and none have ever given me a CC to process). Only once did it take 8 months, and a lot of phone calls to get my money. Every other call has been paid promptly.

I guess we are a trustworthy bunch.
