any way to create device profiles inclusive of an icc profile for rasterlink without using Profile Master Pro and using i1profiler instead?

For those of us who already own and use i1profiler, is there any way to create device profiles inclusive of an icc profile for rasterlink without needing Profile Master Pro?

i dont use rasterlink, but i read that simply renaming the .icc to .cot lets you install it in rasterlink 5 or below versions
