Anyone using a GX-500 with a 54" printer?

I have worked with this for a week or so and I am wondering if what
I am doing is the best solution. I set up the printer for an offset 47"
print on the 54" material- see pict. That seems to be the only way to
get the roland registration marks to line up with where the GX-500 has
to have the marks. Is there a better way? Thanks Gene

Also it seems that you cannot send a cut job to the GX while VWorks is
sending a print to the cutter? Not so handy. I did send an 8' long print
to the GX and the registration was dead on- I would have been tense to
do that when cutting on the VP540. I think this is going to increase
production very nicely when I get the hang of it. Gene
