Backing up Printer HDD

Due to its extreme age, I wanted to make a backup of the HDD of my L26500 and Z6600. I pulled the drive out of the L26500 and found it was password locked at the ATA level. I didn't try the Z6600, as I assume it's the same way. I was going to use ddrescue to make the image, but I can't without the password. How has others done this? Is it simply the admin password that I set in the machine? I didn't want to risk trying passwords until I learned more. Thanks!

Software that will tell u and allow u to change it. I used it and was free version. Put it on a stick booth to that stick. Was easy to do.

You won’t be able to do a copy of the hdd. Partition-type is unknown and is not documented and not recognized by any tool.
