Canon Colorado M-series with Caldera - How to question

I will attach a picture of the lines that I am trying to turn off that shows up on certain medias. I found this picture online and it shows the lines I am experiencing clearly. In my case it showed up on some white ink printing job on a reflective media. But looks like it shows up on clear material too. Does anybody know what they are and if they can be turned off? We use Caldera but if someone can tell me what they are it would greatly help my research to turn them off.

They're called Spit Bars / Spit area. They're configured on the colorado backend interface and you can turn them off in the printer config in caldera.

Not sure why but even when I turned them off they still printed. Wondering if something at the printer itself is overriding ?????
