Carraige locking tool?

Shiping out an SP540V but it doesn't look like the carraige lock tool is still attached. Anything else I can try?

If its anything like my SP540i look and see if you can keep the heads pulled to the left with tape or styrofoam.

If enough shaking lets the heads move to the right just a bit, then the cap tops will unlock and the head is loose to move anywhere.
