Our Mimaki plotter has lately been switching from <Remote> to local and back multiple times over a minute. When I remove the ribbon while in remote, it stays in remote. So I'm deducing that there's an issue with the little control box. I cleaned out what it seems to be corrosion (I'm assuming some water made its way in). I'm afraid it may be damaged but still functional.
