cleaning kit does not come with a pipit tool?

They always used to and now this is the 2nd bottle I have bought and it has the plastic gloves some q -tips and the cleaning fluid but no pipet.
WHY?

Now I have to go source these things...makes no sense

To top it off, the q-tips are useless for anything that comes anywhere near the heads, and the gloves are useless for anything but picking up dog crap.

yeah i got 500 of the little plastic pipettes/syringes from absolutesci.com when i ordered my foam head wipers

The felt swabs I use for cleaning out the dust from my keyboards and air vents in my trucks, and my Rolex watch.
The plastic gloves are still in the box and the Pippets or whatever they are I have not got a clue what I use them for.

Pipettes are like eye-droppers, where you create negative pressure by squeezing the bulb, pulling liquid up into it. Syringes have plungers.

In my cleaning kits, I usually get a single pipette, one or two pairs of crappy plastic gloves (we just stock nitrile gloves for use instead), and a bag of about a hundred useless cotton swabs. Foam I could use, but I've never seen a foam swab come in that I haven't had to specially order.

I do use the swabs for cleaning around the capping station. I use my foam swabs for cleaning the heads. I have not found a problem with the swabs as far as fibers releasing from them.

mine always seem to come with the pipettes, but where the seam on the bulb is, they always seem to separate and become useless. I have been using the same pipette now for about a year. i never use the gloves, or any glove for that matter... guess I should, but cant stand the feel of them.

I don't really care for the q-tip on steroids either. When we got the printer new, it came with some really nice foam covered plastic swabs - which I would love to find again.

yup the weak point is the seam and I usually get a few months out of them. these new ones I can suck up a Buick!!!
