cold install

Hi all. Does anybody know if any of the vinyl manufacturers make a vinyl for low temperature installs?

Don't know of any cold temp vinyls but i have installed many jobs in freezing weather using Rapid Tac II. Go to their web site and view the you tube videos on cold temp installs.

The lowest I have installed is about +5 Celcius

We've installed 651 in 15 degree (F) temps without heat... install went well. hit it with heat to be safe.

Yep, i have installed vinyl with rapid tac 2 fluid in 25 degree weather and it has held up to this day. Been about i don't know, 3 years now? It's a good customer of mine so i see it a lot.

Quick Stick application fluid also works well.

usually no problems but few times removed mask too fast and ripped the vinyl

Rapid tac II is the best thing that ever happened to wet vinyl installs. I installed over 100yards of vinyl on the outside of a building last week in 50 degree pouring weather and was pulling hightac masking tape off after a minute or two with no problems at all!
