Can anyone help? We have getting error message CODE 0220A005 I/O "borad fuse cannot power carriage motor" It also says to engage the pinch rollers, but the pinch rollers are engaged.

Anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions?

the two errors are related. If the pinch rollers are up, the printer will cut the power to the carriage drive motor as a safety precaution. You say that the rollers are down, but there is a small micro-switch sensor that is rigged to the roller release bar. If that switch is out of alignment, it may see the rollers as "up" even when they are down. The switch could also be bad ( easy to test with a DVM ), the bad news is that if switch is not bad that would mean you have a burned trace on your IO Board, and the repair will not be cheap.
