I have an issue with a dramatic colour shift in a client provided file. Their original was set up in Powerpoint and saved as a PDF, with multiple layers of transparency, with the very bottom layer being a bright blue (probably and RGB mix.) When printed though, the image is very purple. I have seen similar colour shifts before, but only when the transparency was placed over a spot colour, never with CMYK or RGB colours. When I try to edit it in Illustrator the colour shifts again and becomes very dull, what should be bright blue is now very grey.
