Contour Cutting with Graphtec FC5100-75

I have Flexi-8 software, use a Mutoh Outdoor Junior printer & have a Graphtec FC5100-75 cutter. I am having problems trying to contour cut. I am able to print the image with the registration marks, but when it comes to "holding" the job to contour cut on the cutter, it cuts it out as it would normally with vinyl.

Does anyone have any wise advise or pointers where we might be missing something? We are a new business & trying to learn on our own.
