custom acrylic room signs

Hello. Please see attached photos. I have a customer requesting the following: "We are looking to get room signs/placards for our Renaissance Village Moreno Valley campus. Something acrylic, which can be back lit, place their name in(slip sheet in) and have a room number." Approximately 100 of them. Can someone please help with this?

NIIIIIIIIIIIICE! I'd even go so far as to say that's a brilliant idea ...and risk the public shame and humiliation of taking an easy set-up for a bad pun.

Neither sample is illuminated, those are just plain acrylic signs and
average stand-offs.

I have been seeing this requests a few times, they usually replace
a light fixture with the signs, so the electricity was going to be near the
sign anyway...

I imagine you are going to have to send most, if not all of this out. Not
only will you need to illuminate the sign, you will have to make it ADA
compliant. I also imagine making a few mock-up to make sure they
illuminate properly.

2-3" deep enclosure with changeable face and an area to add your braille
and tactile lettering.

I really hate bids or jobs like this... they should have someone design this
then send it out to bid, NOW they can get free designs, and then a free for all
on the price.

I doubt they actually will purchase what they are asking and I really doubt they know wth they are asking for. First off a lit up sign with an insert? You know they will end up shoving construction paper in it.

must have got the idea from some DA architect. See the first sign you posted? Thats what they will go with
