Difference between 1000006526 old damper and new 1000012719 dampers for dx7 head ??

Anyone know if there is a significant difference between the two dampers ?- roland replaced the 6526 with the 12719 ?

Reason I'm asking is I have a chance to buy a set of the older ones for a good price.

I would recommend the 12719 dampers only.
The physical difference has to do with the Mylar film.
The dampers have been changed several times as the original ones did not work well.
