Display Case?

Recently we completed a dimensional display for a customer which now needs a display case created to protect it from dust and prying hands. I have not done a case or anything like that before but I assume there is a few ways to accomplish this. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to accomplish this? The recess measures 133" x 83".

Build casework with Apex board then create a rabbet for a sheet of tempered glass. Doing so will allow you to accommodate the existing frame. Apex board is solid PVC that is strong and will hold up to abuse. It also works like wood. Will need to check municipal code regarding the glass.
