Editing Profile

I am having an issue with editing my pic profile that I would like to change.
When I select the image I want to use I make sure it is within the size restrictions. the one I want to use is 79p x 100p. When I save the change, the error message reads upload of file failed.
Is there something I'm missing with this? Any help appreciated

It could be file size or, more likely, an incorrect color mode. It should be either RGB or Indexed (if a GIF).
