Epson s40600 1A39 Error help

I was printing the other day and during mid print I get the dreaded 1a39 error. I checked the main fuse in the back for continuity and it checked out good. Turned the machine off and turned back on and it did not clear it. Started ripping the machine apart this morning and think I found the problem. Any idea how I should go about it? Did the ink short out the cables? It obviously needs a need damper system but i wonder how much other stuff it destroyed when it leaked down? I would love to hear some other peoples advice before digging any deeper. Has anyone ever had this issue before? Thank you for any help!

Hello......That junction that is leaking I believe is part of the entire ink tube assy that goes from that junction and all the way back the the back of the printer, the head cables are attached to it. Its a bit difficult to replace......The 1A39 is unlikey related unless it got onto the connectors on the end of the cables....most of the parts down below that leak are covered with a plastic guard that would route ink away

Some of those leaks that are at the point where the damper line that comes towards the from the printer and plugs into the head will seal up if you tighten the two screws that hold it together. This leak looks to be behind that.....Anyways, that head is around $2100, I can get you one if you need it and help walk you through replacing it. It is VERY rarely a main board that causes the 1A39 error.

After a 2nd look, it does look to be leaking from the joint which is good, the 2nd screw is under the ink glob on the left......a #2 phillips head screwdriver will do the trick, just give both screw a full turn and the ink should stop leaking
