Hey guys,
I have an epson f6200 that wasnt used for quite some time.
Now after turning it on and trying tondo some nozzle checks and cleaning cycles i got the cleaning error. Replace chip unit.
Just for the yellow cartridge...i am able to do the black magenda cleanjng but yellow cyan i always get the error...the black and magenta nozzles are perfect after just 1 medium cleaning...i can print but yellow and cyan dont fire...i dont get error msgs while printing...only when i try to do a clean. I bought a new pa k of yellow ink and put the new chip in but i get the same error msg just that it shows the cartidge as being reserved...i did sume manual old fashioned windex cleaning and was able to get cyan fully back but yellow still not showing.
Here are some pics...i have googled it and it seems noone ever had this issue...if anyone has any idea please let me know.

Update:
i managed to get it done on my own.
After buying and installing the f6200 service program and trying cleaning through it the error still showed as a chip error on the pronter panel but it showed as a low ink error on the pc dashboard. even tho there was plenty of yellow ink in the tank. i did a small refill and added the new chip and did a force charge thru the service prog and that did the trick. after restarting the printer started a heavy cleaning and gave me a perfect nozzle check.
maybe this will help someone in the fuure...stay safe and good luck to everyone who has printer troubles.
