Fonts are bolded after saving via PDF

Hey guys, Any idea why fonts that are not created outlines before saving as PDF are bolded. I noticed mostly the i's and l's are bolded in documents. I have convert text to curves and outlines checked in the PDF settings but it still happens.

I have to save the editable file, then convert all text to curves manually then save as PDF for it to display correctly after the PDF is saved.

Any ideas? :thankyou:

they are not bolded in reality only in vision if you were to zoom in you would notice they are normal. I dont know why this appears to do this. I just pay no mind to it

Thanks guys, I know it prints fine but customers reviewing the proofs complain.

I was having that problem, followed all the suggestions and nothing worked for me. (Illustrator to pdf) I ended up changing the font to Myriad and didn't convert it to outlines since practically everyone has that font installed. That fixed it for me. So, maybe try changing your font.
