Full page width print heads

Like a printhead that's static, able to print the width of the media as its fed? Sounds like something that would have to get purged regularly to avoid clogs.

Lots of label printers are like that, memjet, afinia .

Also check out inca onset if you want like a 5ft wide stationary prinhead assembly

Chinese have cracked the HP pagewide DRM, so lots of promise if you want mediocre thermal printers with dye ink. That said, anything is better than Afinia and their crappy heads and $1000/liter water-based ink.W hat kind of system you trying to integrate into, budget per head, desired DPI, etc.?

I want to print napkins, bags, coffee cup sleeves and pizza boxes so not a high dpi I'm thinking of buying a off the shelf printer use the guts and electronics to run the head just locate the head to mount over a flat conveyor belt. Would probably need a vacuum belt conveyor I'm guessing. Ideas.

I've seen some Chinese printer ads that do just this, maybe will give you some ideas for which head to use

Played with the FocusInc ones, great for paper labels. About $5500 for the printer, and if you use their ink, about $25/liter. The conveyor version is around $8k.
