Pros are it's very cheap...

Cons are it's very low resolution, only 360 dpi I believe, so if you are doing anything outside of long term banners, you'll get no quality out of it.

If you're looking for something a little more high quality that's a good entry level price, take a look at the Mutoh ValueJet. Lots of users here (including me) can attest to the speed, quality, and AFFORDABILITY of printing using the VJ. Starts at $15k for a 48" unit, $22k for a 64" unit.

Maybe a Summa DC4 machines, 20+ spot Colors, CMYK, No fumes, it cuts vinyl too. I think there are two (2) models, 30" and 54", arond the same pricing as the value jets. They are sublimation printers, no lamination needed.
