Does anyone know of a clear solvent printable vinyl with a high tack adhesive? Doesn't need to be optically clear.
Hi tack is not advertised, but depending on your application, I kinda like 3M IJ180c-114 clear....which is air release, so that's the best feature....takes solvent ink nicely, becomes kinda thick if you have to overlam also.Does anyone know of a clear solvent printable vinyl with a high tack adhesive? I have hear of this being doable from a reputable source. But WhyHave you tried printing on 3m 8518?
No reason, other than I've printed on it myself, and it's definitely what I'd call 'high tack'. The other clear we frequently use is arlong 4500G, not a high tack product, and not really worth installing unless the edges are behind trim, it likes to shrink and curl...I have hear of this being doable from a reputable source. Go with the 3m and with regards to the application.
