Hello All

I am having a hard time with my Gerber edge for example.
Say i print a blue sqare with a red boarder the edge will print the blue and come back for the red and when it print the red i will have a white line on one side or 2 sides of the sqare between the blue and the red.

I tryed the overlap setting on the edge and it help a bit but did not fix the problem.
I was wondering if Flxie sign have a overlap setting for that ????

Thanks in advance.

When printing spot colors on my thermal resin printer I build the traps into the artwork. Generally traping each color .02"-.04" will eliminate the possibility of gaps between the two spot colors.

That works but I mostly just use inline/outline depending on the artwork. I tought myself how to do these things way back when in Casmate Pro ver.1 so I'm kinda accustomed to doing things manually, it's all basic path editing.

The color trapping tool looks like it would be very effective when you have objects that overlap in partial areas. Work with it a bit and you'll quickly see how it works. Here's a sample with two overlaping objects, one black one red, select both objects then apply color trapping, see attachment.

When printing you would print the red first (lighter color) then the black.
