HP FB500 - major problems!

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience repairing HP FB500 printers? I’ve given up with my machine.

When initialising the printer. I get errors for the Rail motor not moving, input and output roller encoders not detecting pulses. Everything else on the printer works.

I’ve tried a new HDD, IO board, motor driver board, power supply, encoder readers, encoder strips, the motors all work as I’ve tested these externally with 12V.

I’m lost and on the verge of stripping this machine for parts.
