Ink flaking with gel uv ink

Hey All,
Has anyone had issues with their Direct to Substrate prints on Coro with the ink flaking? We're printing full flood color and have had some issues with the ink flaking off while trimming. Wondering if it the cleaner we've been using (recommended by Canon tech) Denatured alcohol, simple green, distilled water. Tried just using straight alcohol but sometimes doesn't remove stubborn finger prints. Any suggestions?

yes we have had that issue for years with our HP printers. We did UV lamps changes because mfger said if lamps get week ink does not cure properly. I call BS on that because if ink was not cured totally it would remain soft and not flake. We also washed coro with everything we could imagine. still flaked on occasion. when printing with these types of inks, this will happen. got tired of losing clients and redoing jobs so we bit the bullet and got an R530 latex. All flaking problems solved.
