INK LAYERS in Flexi 8!!!!!!!!!!

Should I turn on ink layers for back lit trans...vinyl and 16 pass or just 16 pass????? Thanks

You're probably wanting to do an overprint.

What is an over print...when you print on clear and white and put them together

lay ink, pause, lay same ink, advance. And yes it's recommended for back lite trans. On a Mutoh, it's in the control panel not Flexi.

I have the option to do ink layers...2 times , 3 times etc......then uder that is 4 pass 8 pass 16 pass........would I put the ink layers on 2 and the pass at 16 or just 8...and ink layer at 2 or just one layer with 16 pass????????? wow confusing

Here is the prod manager screen the ink layers is on off but can be set to 2 times 3 etc what is optimal for translucent vinyl

I would do 2 layers & try 8 pass.
No advice can take the place of running some test prints though.
If you don't have some white plex & the means to simulate a light box,
I suggest you get one.
