Art Display Co. is a second-generation, family-owned and operated business since 1947. We have a very nice (and relatively new) facility in Capitol Heights, Maryland -- near the Beltway. This is a very lively and active Commercial-Zoned area, with new conveniences opening all the time. Brand new Restaurants, Car Dealerships, and Shopping are nearby. National Harbor, the Wilson Bridge, Wegmans, and Costco and BJ's Warehouses are only a few miles away.

We have off-street parking, security cameras, and secured grounds. We produce every type of commercial sign imaginable -- everything from large fabricated electric signs to awnings and vinyl lettering. We operate two CAD/CAM routers, and house 8 different Fabrication Departments here. We are an award-winning professional sign company with over 100 employees -- many of whom have worked here for more than 30 years.

We are looking for a computer-literate Installation Foreman to run our entire Installation Department. This individual must be conversant in basic computer usage for communications and updates (email, transferring photos, opening PDFs, etc.). We can train you on our Workflow System -- which is quite easy. We need an individual who is motivated to "Get the job done -- and ON TIME!" You will be in charge of all Installation Crews and overseeing the operation and maintenance of all related cranes, service trucks, and equipment.

A CDL License would be greatly beneficial, but is not mandatory.

Experience with safe Crane and Rappeling Equipment is mandatory. We are not asking you to rappel, yourself, as we have Service Techs to do this.

We are looking for a self-starter -- someone who understands that Customer Satisfaction is everybody's goal here at Art Display Co. Someone who will not get mired down in company or personal politics. Your supervisor and colleague will be the General Manager, who oversees all Shop Production and Scheduling.

This position includes access to several Company Benefits. Paid holidays. Paid vacations. Health care. A modest dental program. AFLAC participation is voluntary. A cell phone and Company Vehicle can be provided. You will have a full-time in-office Assistant.

NOTE: This position may involve unexpected Overtime. And it definitely requires you to follow up with Site Inspections for completed work to be sure everything is satisfactory. This is NOT an 8-hour a day job, due to the nature of situations beyond our control -- unexpected Grand Openings, emergencies in the field, etc. If you must leave everyday at 2pm for personal reasons -- this job is NOT for you, and you should not apply.

We consider ourselves Professionals here, and even operate a GPS-updated Tracking System for all Installation Vehicles so we can see where each crew is at any moment so we can respond quickly to our customers needs.

You will be expected to cooperate with Staff and communicate well with the Sales Force. Field Surveys are part of your job. And so is sharing the responsibility for locking-up the facility at night, meeting crews early when required, and staging jobs for the following day.

To sum up, we are looking for the following...
10 Years Experience in Signage Fabrication and Installation.
Crane Operating Experience is mandatory.
Basic Computer Literacy is mandatory.
CDL License is desirable but not mandatory.
