Is this a custom font?

The EDO is what I'm referring to. Anything close would be acceptable.
This logo image is .75 inches tall and about 1.25 inches wide. This is the best photo I could come up with and several scanning attempts yeilded no better image. I'm having trouble to vectorize it. Tried corel trace ( X3) and also tried using the "draw-over" method. It a PITA for such a low-yeild job.

im sureeeee there is something close out there, but that looks like it was done by hand. The thickness varies in every letter and that E has somethin crazy goin on.

Thanks George, I have no fear of perfection on this one.
This logo comes from somewhere around the 1940's, from a company that made aircraft floats. A client of mine is a MASTER craftsman at replicating scaled down RC aircraft. I'm not kidding..you should see some of his work. Some of his flying models have a 12 - 14 foot wingspan.
So, even though it will not be a real paying job, I like to provide him with the best I can do. His attention to detail is "captivating" and challenging.
If anyone else knows a source of this logo, please let me know.
