Large sign face install with bucket truck

We have a 4' x 12' pan face to install. It's a little too high for A frame ladders to be any help. Its up on a double pole frame so one person can guide it in with an extension ladder right at the sign end. We have a 30' bucket truck, was wondering if anyone had recommendations on how to safely get the face up there with the one man bucket. We have the giant suction cup handles like for glass handling, but I am not sure if I trust just holding it by those while the bucket goes up or not....

Get two people in the bucket and one holds it and the other controls the bucket. Or you can move slowly with the bucket and just keep it rested on the bucket/boom.

pick it up and slide it in, we do this every day.Pan face is even easier.. If you need some handles clamp some c clamps or Vice grip clamps on and lift it up

this what you do! plain and simple

i was fortunate enuff to have some "forks" sticking out of the base of my buckets to set stuff on.

When we had a bucket we also added a couple brackets sticking out from the bottom of the bucket
so one guy could hold it while going up.

some of our trucks have sign forks but some do not. We also have a couple trucks with in basket jibs which are the best. Here is one person installing 10'x8' faces. We still have single man fiberglass buckets that we do 30-60 sqft faces in everyday. Just have clamps and rigging for all the situations
