Latex 360 Problems trying to modify a profile

Has anyone else had this problem when trying to modify a profile on the Latex 360?

I print out the print test, then the colour calibration pattern no problem and then when the printer goes to scan the pattern it scans a blank part of the vinyl as it doesnt wind the vinyl back through far enough before it starts scanning causing the error messages!

Is there anything I can try or do to sort this problem?

I guess the shutter is not opening. Maybe the lid of spectro is broken or the opening mechanism isn’t engaged properly.
