Lines in .tiff file when exporting from Illustrator

Lately when I export a .tiff file from Illustrator, I get random lines in my file. My current workaround is to bring my .ai file into photoshop and export my .tiff file.

Any ideas

You sure you don't have a hidden layer in your files.

If you preview the ai exported tiff in photoshop are the lines there?
I know ai can break up images into odd bits an pieces when rasterizing vectors but these sometimes leave little white 1 or 2 pixel gaps that can show up in a print - have not seen what you are showing.

Yes they are still there. Its done it on several of my designs so I'm thinking it's gotta be a problem with Illustrator. I'm kinda surprised that no one else has had this problem. This happens to my files all the time.

Can you crop your ai file down to that problem area and post it here for one of us to take a look?
