For a bulk ADA signage project, I would first confirm the complete
sign schedule before quoting anything. Room names, sizes, Braille/tactile requirements, material, mounting method, color contrast, and quantity for each
sign type should be clear from the start.
At
Volt Signs, we usually recommend getting artwork/specs approved early because bulk ADA
sign jobs can become difficult if the client changes room names, layouts, or compliance details after production starts.
Also, if evacuation maps are included, those should be approved by the proper local authority before fabrication. Revisions on those can become expensive and time-consuming.
For this type of project, it is better to compare suppliers based on sample quality, ADA compliance experience, production consistency, turnaround time, and how clearly they handle art proofs/revisions.
