losing fonts with corel 4x

Hi all, I've had a problem losing all but 4 fonts, i've tried to install a palitino font and somehow lost all my previous fonts. could be i missed something, any help would be appreciated. I'm using xp

Guess I should say what program i'm using, lol. It's Corel 4X.

corel X4 - have you opened up bitstream font navigator to see whats going on?

under my options for fonts i have 'use font navigator catalog on open' checked. i still have all my fonts on windows when i check them under control panel.

Have you tried re-installing them all? I had to do this with winXP after I upgraded from x3 to X4. Made a temp folder on desktop, copy, paste, install. Solved the issue for me after a reboot.
