Measuring with a Drone

I use Google satellite view and measure the length of it and figure out the height from there. Probably about as accurate as a drone... gets you in the ballpark.

Quit buggin' me
I send my drones out all the time to measure signs. They are more accurate in the morning. Once they eat lunch they get sleepy and are more prone to mistakes.

We have used a drone on tall signs and for inspection of the structure. However we have to combine that technology with the spike laser measure tool.

If they let me make it, they will come
haha , I had a client tell me that I should use a drone to take pictures of his sign and get measurements. I told him that sounds fancy and all but I prefer to use subtense method and I can tell he didn't do well at math. Simple put it is a measure of known distances to extrapolate what you are measuring.

You need to also get a survey paid for and get real measurements, evaluate the structure, electrical etc. of hire someone who can do this for you.
