Mimaki CJV150 block of nozzles dropped

I have a Mimaki CJV150 machine that all of sudden has dropped a block of nozzles. I've tried multiple cleanings, head soaks, etc. with no luck. The dropped nozzles do not fluctuate like a bad damper...just all of a sudden gone.

Could this be a cable (my lucky day) or would this be a head problem?

Nozzles not moving is definitely an issue. Would try a damper for the ease/cost just in case. Sometimes starvation shows a bias in which nozzles go out. Look for air in line as well. As for a cable, not terribly likely, but I've seen weird stuff before.

Thanks! I will try replacing the damper. Cheap and easy and certainly cannot hurt.

I have remapped 10 of 20 missing nozzles. That certainly helped, but still not up to high end jobs.

Check the bottom of the head for damage. You might have had a head strike. Scratches, dents, anything that might deform/shut the nozzles.
