mimaki jv3 and cg130 with flexi 8 contour cutting issues please help !!!!!

I need help ASAP so I can keep my job.....long story short... am using AI CS6 to build my art the move it over to flexisign 8.1 and have a mimaki jv3-160s and a CG130 FX and I have a problem just cutting the out the outside of everything like a logo..it cuts everything inside too....I just want to cut the outer area of my my artwork???? can some one plzzzz help asap!! thanks

Uncheck the "With Holes" box when setting the contour cut in Flexi for one. Sometimes you might still need to duplicate everything in Illustrator first though and set all to one single color and weld everything as just one big shape and make that the bottom layer. In Flexi ungroup it and select just that one solid shape and set that to cut.
