Looks like a bad ribbon cable or slider board to me.

The only piece of information changed the cap station and did not notice one utility

Power off the machine. Take the cover off the dampers/heads. carefully remove one cable and write how it was connected onto it.
Remove another cable and do the same thing. Swap the cables locations. Power back on the machine and see if the problem moved with the cable. If so - bad cable, if not - probably bad board (that the cables go into).
