Never go against the family
Locating & printing errors are usually caused by a communication problem.
Make sure print driver is up to date. Try a different/ shorter/ better USB cable and see if it corrects it, use a good shielded cable, stay under 15 feet. This usually ends up solving it. Also don't have any other USB devices attached to the rip computer, or have the printer attached to a USB hub. Mimaki's are finicky with all that.
