Mixing 3M Vinyls with Avery overlaminates

Can Avery overlaminates 1080z or 1060z be used on 3M 180 series films for car wraps? Anyone have any experience of mixing the 2 brands?

Also how is performance of Avery 1080z and 1060z overlaminates in terms of UV and overall protection of the prints? (with any vinyl, not specifically with 3M vinyls)

We have mixed laminate brands many times over the years with zero issues.... In our experience over the years both brands laminates are pretty comparable. I prefer us to not mix brands but sometimes that is all that is available so you do what you have to.

Cast over cast manufacturer does not matter. You can put cast laminate in calendared vinyl…waste of money. Cannot go the other way

FYI if you mix materials neither will warranty it, and if there is any failure it's completely on you.
