Mutoh XpertJet 1641SR - No printing after printhead change

Hi. I'm new to the forum, but I'd like to ask you all for advice. I'm at a loss. Last week I bought a new print head from digiprint supplies com. I changed the head because the old print head was leaking two colors together and magenta and cyan simply wouldn't print... Plus the nozzle check was completely broken. According to the counter, the head printed over 9000 m2. So I ordered a new print head, new cables from the head to the CR board, a new capping station, new dumpers, new original MUTOH MS41 colors. I changed the print head, everything was OK. I couldn't enter the head id in the service menu. Specifically, I couldn't change the penultimate character in the last third line. The technician from digiprint supplies said that it didn't matter and I could print without worries.

Inkcharge was done, no error occurred, everything seemed OK.
I printed a few m2, the print was absolutely great. But suddenly the print quality started to be absolutely poor, more ink than it should be, the printer seemed to print partially. Just a disgusting broken print with a lot of ink.
I did a cleaning, nozzle check, and it didn't print anymore. Instead, the printer printed only a dark stripe full of color.

I checked the cables (they advised me at the digiprint supplies helpdesk), ordered new ones to be sure and again without change.
The technician advised a firmware upgrade, which was successful, but the HEAD ID is still unassignable and the printer still doesn't print, or rather only prints the dark stripe. Not even after replacing the cables.

They also advised me to replace the cables from the CR board to the motherboard, which I haven't done yet, I measured the cables, they are conducting as they should, the resistance is ok, they are not damaged.
All fuses are ok.

Can anyone please think of where the problem could be?
I will complain about the head, digiprint's attitude is that they don't really want to deal with anything, but if it printed with the old print head, with the new one too and suddenly it stopped, there must be a problem with the head.
I would like to point out that if I send data from the rip to print, it prints, but in absolutely terrible quality.
So in conclusion, the cabling is OK, the fuses are OK, the ink is OK, the dumpers are fine, no error messages, the media size is read, the connection to the PC works (including the mutoh status monitor).
It is interesting that if the printer turns off for a day, for example, I do a nozzle check immediately after turning it on and it runs without errors. When I start printing, it is terrible, as if there is no color and it is blurry. Another nozzle check will not print.
I will gladly pay for advice or help in finding the problem, I am desperate and I urgently need to print. When I complained, digiprint told me that they would take weeks or months to resolve the matter, which I consider an absolute rip-off, and told me to buy a new head from them and if they accept the complaint, they would refund my money...

Please and thank you very much for any advice.

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
Whenever it prints like that, it's an electrical issue. I usually start with the head cables as well. Also, take the new head out and inspect the terminals where the cables plug in for damage or ink splatter that may be causing a short.

You can also pop the old head back in and see if it prints normally other than the defects you changed the head for in the first place. If it prints fine, your new head probably damaged electronically or there's damage or ink splatter on the terminal. If it prints like the new one is, it's more likely another cable or main board damage.

Thanks for the info. I understand what you mean, but there is no mess, no drops, no ink or cleaning fluid anywhere. I also looked inside the connectors in the print head with a magnifying glass and light and everything is like new. I tried changing the cables maybe three sets. Unfortunately, the old print head almost doesn't print at all anymore, so I'm not able to test it :( The printer doesn't report any error messages either.

I don't know why the printer printed absolutely perfectly after the replacement and the print quality deteriorated so much on its own, without any intervention, the printer didn't even turn off, in short, it printed from the best quality to a completely KO state during operation.

I tried to measure the contacts on the print head (disconnected) with a multimeter and compare the conductivity of the circuits with the old head and there were differences. As if one connector for the flat cable (29 pin) was completely connected. On the new print head.

The main thing I don't understand is that after a few hours when is printer off, the nozzle check prints without errors. If the motherboard or CR board were damaged, it wouldn't print anything, would it?

Happened to me twice with the new digiprint business. In 2 different machines. PayPal returned me the money and just bough 2 from a reputable vendor
