Need some capping station help

Or atleast I think. Every morning if I run a print, I get white lines through the print for the first 6-10 inches or so. If I run a cleaning, that goes away, and all my prints start fine. But if I leave it alone for a couple hours and come back to make a print, it does it again.

Had this problem before, but can't remember what it was. Is it the capping station going bad? My warranty is up, and the last thing I want to do is fry my printer.

Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, running a Mutoh Falcon Outdoor II, Ultra inks, Flexi 8.0

Sounds like it is...the cap may not be sealing anymore and when it sits awhile the ink begins to dry up in the nozzles. Had this problem with my sp roland.

OR are you getting any air in the lines that must be purged before the ink starts flowing?

It's your printheads that just need a prime before print.
You should do this when the printer has sat idle for a bit.
I'd re-line your capping pad, just to make sure.
