[FONT=&amp]Advantage is looking an experienced, customer-focused, detail-oriented individual to join its field technician team. The individual will travel to customer locations throughout the United States to perform installs, repairs, and preventative maintenance on the equipment within our portfolio. The ideal candidate would reside in the Greater Richmond, Virginia area.

Job Duties:

[FONT=&amp]• Installation and training on new equipment and software at customer locations.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Repair of equipment at customer locations.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Preventative maintenance visits at customer locations.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Provide technical support to customers via phone and email communication.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Answer technical support questions of fellow team members, including members of the sales, branch, and corporate teams. [/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Conduct training classes for equipment and software both in-person and online.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Provide onsite training to customers. [/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Assist with equipment demos at branch locations, as directed by ATS Manager.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Maintain, repair, and clean company demo equipment, as needed.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Attend trade shows and company open house events, as directed by ATS Manager.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Assist with setup and disassembly of equipment at trade shows and open house events[/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]Preferred Skills: [/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]• Sign industry experience and familiarity with wide format printing, highly preferred[/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]• Ability to explain technical information to customers and team members[/FONT]

[FONT=&amp]• Excellent driving record [/FONT]


[FONT=&amp]License Required: Must have valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and excellent driving record [/FONT]


Physical Demands:

[FONT=&amp]• Frequent time is spent traveling by personal vehicle or airplane[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Ability to work long days, as required by assignment [/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Ability to stand for long periods of time[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Ability to bend, lift, sit, stand to safely work on equipment[/FONT]

Work Environment:

[FONT=&amp]• Customer and Vendor locations[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Demo Room[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Some time is spent at branch locations or corporate office[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Work from home office when not traveling[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]• Significant time spent traveling via airplane or vehicle.[/FONT]
