Can’t you just take a look at the ink limits?

I’m always a little confused when people fork out $$$$$ for a printer but won’t pay $$$ for a spectrophotometer to get accurate colours whilst saving ink.

Did you say you don’t like colour matching? Or did I misread and you don’t like the profiles for colour matching?

What annoys actually annoys me is when people come on a forum looking for media profiles.
Either:
Download media profiles from the printers manufacturer's website, the Stocks manufacturer's website or the RIPs website
OR
Build your own.
OR
Pay someone to build them for you.

IMO everyone who has a print shop should own a spectrophotometer.

what's the issue with the one your creating?

download a profile for your stock from graphiplaza and relinearise/re calibrate it

colours are very light, profile was made by Ukainian engineer, as i saw, on graphiplaza all profiles are same, only names are different, before i'm start using IJC257 , i used IJC 258 ink, profile was downloaded from CPP canon and it was good profile, this site is no more available, now on graphiplaza i downloaded 4 different profile, ink usage is 100% same, colours also, i'm thinking that this profiles are all generic and only names are different, i'm using onyx 12 (have a key) , but onyx no more supporting onyx 12 and where is not profiles on profile downloading manager, now i must learning profiling

IJC258 inks are very different then IJC257
find a258 profile.

onyx has a tutorial on YouTube how to create a media profile.

Océ's limits for IJ257 ink on their default profile is 390% so 400 isn't a big difference anyway.
I remember it looked terrible and washed out when I first installed it, so got all new profiles made for every print mode.
I could share an ICM file, but it won't match your linearization or ink limits. OML won't work as we run a 360GT so the head setup is different.

yes, 257 profiles wont look good on 258 inks.

Inklimit at 400 is fine. create icc profile with 944 patches and see how you go.
