Oracal of what is comparable to it.

I have been using Oracal 3640-G for the past three years with no problems.

Just wondering what other vinyls are comparable to the one I am using.

Sometimes I have a hard time finding it in stock at a local dealer.

I use the 30" wide size for my SP-300

Why not order it in?....Must be 100s of dealers within 1 day ship and others that run their own deliveries....

3164 g is very similar and a little more common. I work out a deal and have with many suppliers, tell them to keep enough of it in stock for you. If they don't then I am sure there is another supplier that would love too.

Most vendors have a house brand that is also very similar

I used to have that problem also. Now I just order 5 rolls at a time. When I get down to 2 rolls, I order more. Funny they always have the laminate, but not the vinyl.

I was told I needed to buy a bigger machine because 30" is becoming outdated. Would be nice to do that, but it would also mean a bigger laminator.

I don't do many jobs that warrant bigger equipment. If I do, I have a good shop to outsource work to.
