Need Help Partial Wrap speed boat?

I had a customer contact me yesterday about wrapping the sides and top of a 2008 DCB F29 boat. I have partial wrapped normal cruiser boats in the past but after looking this boat up it seems to be more of a speed boat, and he wants the sides and tops done with striping. my issue is will my work fail on the waters due to more rigorous speeds. I use only 3M and I do primer the edges for a stronger bond. the more I looked into the boat I see mostly paint jobs done on these specific boats. Any advice or experience someone has had in the past please share with me thank you.

Personally I try to dissuade people wanting to get the boat wrapped. Their primary reason for seeking a wrap is because they think it will be cheap, "Because it's just stickers". However, when you go to do it, they are going to want a design just like what the painter charges $15,000 to do even though it's easier to do it with paint than to design it to look that way with print. And they'll want it for $1500. And when they scar it in a docking or trailering mishap, they won't understand why you can't just patch it.
