PLEASE HELP Printing Holographic stickers on MIMAKI UCJV300-160

Hello Everyone,

Can someone please tell me how to print holographic stickers on Mimaki UCJV300-160.

Im planning to print and cut 10mmDiameter stickers on our Mimaki UCJV300-160 printer but the client demanded for a holographic media. What media do you guys use? is there a specific way of printing it or just like a normal vinyl?

Please help im a newbie

I have used Roland Prism Holographic foil on my Roland SP-300V and gotten great results. You have to use a higher cutting pressure than regular vinyl because you're piercing through a diffraction grating laminate and a metal foil. Other than that it prints just like regular vinyl. You might have to modify your ink% limits if you're putting down too much or not enough ink.

FWIW I've burned through a ton of the holographic from Halliday and been nothing but pleased with it.
It's down towards the bottom on this page if you want 54"
