Fonts clash, no defined priority or format, to many conflicting angles and rhythms. Only need one graphic, dislike the variable border thickness. Colors are okay though.

One question, how and what will it be used for?

Too many different fonts. Doesn't flow at all. I also don't like the drop shadow Oak Falls Farm its just not right you have it arched all wrong its too far from the O and to tight around the M.

I wouldn't buy honey with that label, & I buy a lot of honey from all over its one of my passions. A label like that would have me questioning what was actually in the bottle.

agree with the too many fonts. there isn't a flow of info. the pure organic honey from the ... valley is all one thought and I would make it all the same font. the shadows look off to me. the inner border's margins aren't even all around. not liking the the three leaves lined up, can you try a grouping or one single leaf? the colors are nice and warm. with a little tweeking, it could be a nice design.

Here's a quick and dirty layout idea for you.

Signmeup, I like where you are going with the design on the right.

Fatboy, is there some lettering in the handle of the honey thingamajigger? Sorry, don't know what ya call it. A honey dipper? :loveya:

It's better to have two hands than one glove.
As others have noted, way too many type faces that absolutely positively are not harmonious with each other.

The border is awful, the copy is too small, and the drop shadow on the line at the bottom is gratuitous. The copy in white at the bottom is indecipherable.

The stick with the honey is too small, make it much larger in order to involve it in the design. Also the leaves just floating there at the bottom.

I assume that this is a label for a jar. Having done a few of these I can state that less copy made as large and bold as space permits works better than lots of copy in small point sizes is the way you want to go.

I like the shape of the design, and the basic way you have laid it out. The fonts you chose dont work well together though. The graphic doesnt look right because of the trailing drips of honey. I did this using basically two typestyles, and changed the graphic. Also added outlines to the two main lines of copy.:signs101:

I started and was interrupted. But here's my take on it. I'm sure I would keep refining this if I had more time on it. But its a starting point

I like Deaton's, but I prefer the idea of a honey dipper instead of the bee. Seems like it would be a more unique image.
