Prep solution? Digital printer bonding agent

Has anyone ever heard of these products? I'm beginning to wonder if it exists...

It supposed to be a product similar to what Tie-Bond is for paint, but for digital printing. It helps the ink from a digital printer bond to high-gloss surfaces like acrylic.

Am I wasting my time searching suppliers?

I had a conversation recently with Nazdar about this subject for a project that we were going to be UV Flatbed printing 500 melamine display boards that we were having adhesion problems. Screenprinting ended up being the solution for this, but I asked about a primer for digitial printing. I am not familiar with any brands or how they work, but the tech told me that usually primers as used on softer plastics like coro and PVC and aren't as effective on harder surfaces like acrylic, melamine, metals. Still scratching my head on this one.

Fuji has a adhesion promoter for coroplast (ZE720), acrylic (ZE680) and other plastics like styrene (ZE1000). There's also AP3155 and AP2155.
