primer 94 over rivets or is that a waste of time

I am wrapping a trailer this afternoon and it has a crap load of rivets. Normally i put some primer 94 on the rivets to help keep it from lifting over time but wanted to know if this is a waste of time. I have only done a few trailers and they didn't have that many rivets so this one would take a little while to primer every rivet and wanted to make sure i am not wasting all my time for nothing. Any comments would be great. Thanks

we just lay down the vinyl, then come back after we are finished - heat the area around the rivets and press it down with a rivet pad. mounds right to it. Now for wheel wells, primer does work so well. Wheel wells always seem to come up, its best to put a relief cut in it.
